December’s focus is to prepare people to appreciate the first coming of Christ so that the meaning of Christmas is clear to all and a rich appreciation, adoration of Christ will be the experience of all on Christmas day when we gather to worship in the evening in the event called, “A Christmas Carol”. Myanmar Mission Trip – 4- 10 December
A team of 14 people will be going for a Christmas outreach to the children in the public schools. There are 5 public schools with a total of about 1000 children. Sis Joanne will be leading the group with Ethel assisting her. Pray that it will a blessed time of bonding and reaching out. Please uphold the team in prayer that:
- God would be glorified by EVERY aspect of our trip.
- The unconditional love of God would radiate in and through each of our lives.
- God would put a hedge of protection around the team throughout entire trip.
- All participating on this trip would be sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit.
- God would give wisdom to those speaking and teaching and listening ears to the people we come in contact with during the trip.
- Divine appointments, both with those we share with as well as other we might encounter while travelling.
DFF 35th Anniversary – 27 November
Today Deaf Faith Fellowship will be celebrating its 35th Anniversary. We give thanks to God for His faithfulness for the past 35 years.
Serving Christ Beyond the Church Walls 8 to 12 June 2017 – Church Camp Updates
Do sign up for Church Camp 2017 if you have not already done so. From now till 31 January 2017, camp fees are priced at $600.00 per person based on twin sharing, which includes a 5D4N stay at Rembrandt hotel, airfares, airport transfers, meals and blessed time and encounters with God. For those who have already signed up, the Camp Committee requests that you take a photo of your passport details and send it to Bev either by WhatsApp (9363 8082) or email (firstname.lastname@example.org) by 30 November 2016. Please also inform the Camp Committee of your confirmed travel dates by 30 November 2016 if you have not already done so.
A Christmas Carol
There will not be Sunday morning worship on the Sunday, 25th December. Instead, we will hold the Christmas experience called “A Christmas Carol” in the evening for friends and family to come together to remember the meaning behind the season, to worship God and to share in a Christmas dinner.
Volunteers are needed for this service, so do sign up today after today’s service. You can be involved with choir / skits / decor / clean-up / food serving.
Christmas service invitations are available at the ushers’ cupboard. You are encouraged to take more invitations for inviting your friends and family members.
